What is Road Safety Week 2024?
Road Safety Week 2024 runs from 17th to 23rd November and focuses on the theme “After the crash, every road victim counts.”
With more than 1700 people dying every year on UK roads and 30,000 people suffering serious, life-changing injuries, this years’ theme is focused on counting the real cost of road crashes.

Brake.org run the UK’s biggest annual road safety campaign, bringing together communities and professionals to shout out for everyone’s right to make safe and healthy journeys on safe roads.
The aim of Road Safety Week is to inspire schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and promote life-saving messages.

This years’ theme is designed to:

Brake said that whilst the numbers are “shocking”, “road casualties are not just statistics. Behind every number is a family in turmoil.”
