Rising to the challenge in difficult times
The last twelve months have posed significant challenges for most businesses, so this award is a huge milestone and reflection of the hard work, dedication and excellence from the team and management. Not only has the last twelve months meant we have had to adapt as a company, but we have also seen this happen with many of our customers too. By September 2020 we saw a return of Tradesmen and all our staff were back.
As 2020 progressed, we saw a flood of enquiries for Couriers and Delivery Drivers to keep up with the demand for online shopping. Our people pulled together to meet the demands of our new and existing customers. People moved departments to assist; customers were serviced all hours of the day and night from home workers. Team members who held non-customer facing roles took the brave step to talk directly to our customers to support where they could. It was a real team effort to provide service levels above and beyond.
Our award recognises not only our ability to have “exceeded challenging business objectives” but acknowledges how our teams “stepped up to the plate in very difficult times.” This is evidence that BCD is continuing to move in the right direction and are in a powerful position in the market to face any challenges that lie ahead.
Recognising outstanding service
The recognition from the National Insurance Awards also highlights that we are getting it right for our clients and customers.
